Who is Great-West Trust Company, LLC (Great-West Trust)?

Great-West Trust provides trustee and custodial services to employer-sponsored retirement plans such as 401(k), 401(a), 457, and 403(b) plans, as well as individual retirement accounts (IRAs)1. Retirement plans serviced by Great-West Trust include those sponsored by corporate and governmental entities.

Great-West Trust provides trustee or custodial services to more than 26,000 employer-sponsored retirement plans and 185,000 IRA’s, representing more than $601 billion in assets. Great-West Trust has been a provider of trustee and custodial services for more than 23 years.2

Great-West Trust is a Colorado state-chartered trust company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Company.

Great-West Trust is regulated by the Colorado Division of Banking and provides quarterly reports to and is subject to periodic examinations by the Colorado Division of Banking. It is also subject to minimum capital requirements determined by the Colorado Division of Banking, and maintains a financial institutional bond, as well as a banker's professional liability (error and omissions) policy.
